How to join
There is one door into SPLN. It starts at SPPG.
SPLN has no membership form and no fee. Every member was admitted to the School of Politics, Policy & Governance, completed ten demanding months, graduated, and was attested on Character, Competence and Capacity.
Choose your country
Admissions are open across four nations.
Apply in the country where you live and serve. Each country runs its own selection, cohort and graduation.
The journey
Six steps. No shortcuts.
01
Apply
Apply to the next SPPG class in your country — Nigeria, Kenya, Senegal or Ghana. Applications are open to future office-holders, public servants, advisers, professionals and engaged citizens.
02
Get admitted
Admission is rigorous. Only a small fraction of applicants are offered a seat — selected for demonstrated commitment to public leadership and the promise of character, competence and capacity.
03
Complete 10 months
Ten intensive months, November to August: 26 core modules, 7 thematic areas, 140+ topics, 15 live hours a week, group peer-to-peer assessment, a personal manifesto and a community Capstone.
04
Graduate
Graduation requires every module, the Capstone, every peer evaluation and a 98% attendance-and-participation standard. Then you walk the stage — in Abuja, Dakar or Nairobi.
05
Earn the 3Cs attestation
SPPG's Senior Leadership Team attests that each graduate's 3Cs Index — Character, Competence and Capacity — stands above the threshold. No attestation, no induction.
06
Join SPLN for life
You are introduced to the network: a country group, a class group, a working committee, PeerBridge mentorship, and a community that doesn't let go after the ceremony ends.
Why it means something
Selective by design.
Only a small fraction of applicants are admitted. Graduation demands every module, the Capstone, every peer evaluation and 98% attendance and participation. Then SPPG's Senior Leadership Team must attest each graduate's 3Cs Index stands above the threshold. That's why an SPLN profile is a credential.
